Johnny Palacios

Johnny Palacios ( born December 20, 1986 in La Ceiba ) is a Honduran football player. The national team is in CD Olimpia under contract. His brothers Milton, Jerry and Wilson also play for the Honduran national team.

Career

Johnny his career as well as the other four Palacios brothers began at CD Olimpia, where he Honduran champion several times and was instrumental in the continued success of the Leones at national and international level. His performances were so convincing that he was even close to a move to Wigan Athletic in the English Premier League, which, however, at the last moment burst.

Despite his good performances at club level the combative central defender was appointed shortly before the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2009 Reinaldo Rueda in the Honduran national football team.
