Jesse Tyler Ferguson

Jesse Tyler Ferguson ( born October 22, 1975 in Missoula, Montana ) is an American actor.

Life

Ferguson was born in 1975 in Missoula, Montana. After high school he attended from 1994, the American Musical and Dramatic Academy ( AMDA ) in New York City. Ferguson played in various theater and musical productions in New York City, including The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and A Midsummer 's Night Dream.

Since 2009, Ferguson plays the fictional role of gay Mitchell Pritchett, who with his partner Cameron adopted a baby from Vietnam in the mockumentary Modern Family.

In September 2012, Ferguson announced his engagement to the lawyer Justin Mikita.
