Jestřabí (Zlín District)

Jestřabí ( German: Jastraby, 1939-1945 Habichtsau ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located six kilometers south-east of Slavičín and belongs to Okres Zlín.

Geography

Jestřabí is located in the northwest of the White Carpathians in the area of the nature park PLA White Carpathians. The village is located below the confluence of the Rokytenka at a right tributary of the Vlára. To the north, the Stupně (490 m) and the Rubanisko rise (501 m ) east of the Bralove, in the northeast of Lázek ( 399 m ) southeast of the Na Nivách (512 m), in the south the Doubrava (520 m), south-west the Rovné (435 m) and in the northwest the Vrchy ( 461 m). On the Na Nivách there is a radio tower. North of the village runs along the Vlára the Wlarabahn, the nearest train station is Popov.

Neighboring towns are Vrbětice and Krekov in the north, Popov in the northeast, Štítná nad Vláří in the east, Žírce, Salašisko, Vápenice and Kršlisko the southeast, Velíková, SEBAK, Valentová and cooking Avec in the south, jabłoni, Podsedky, Šanov and Pod Zbytkem the southwest, Rokytnice and Hradek na Vlárské dráze in the west and Rokytenka, Divnice and Bohuslavice nad Vláří in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village took place in 1503. Jestřabí The festivals formed at that time a Erblehn the castle Brumov, whose owner January Flajh of Jestřabí was. The village's name derives from Jestrab ( hawk ). In 1520 the village as Gestrzebij 1571 as Gestrzaby, 1671 and 1720 as Jestržaby Jestrzabi was called. The site was originally part of Olomouc, and after his graduation in 1637 to Hradischer circle. Since 1787 was in Jestrzabi a Lokalie and parish school, before the village was gepfarrt after Brumov. Until the mid-19th century Jestřaby remained the rule Brumov submissive.

After the abolition of patrimonial Jestřabí / Jastraby formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Uherský Brod and the jurisdiction Valašské Klobouky. Between 1855 and 1866 the village was assigned to the District Valašské Klobouky and then came back to the reconstructed District Commission Uherský Brod. The Lokalie Štítná nad Vláří in 1856 raised to the parish, Jestřabí and Popov were now on the parish there. After the abolition of Okres Valašské Klobouky Jestřabí came in late 1960 Okres Gottwaldov. Between 1976 and 1991 Jestřabí was incorporated to Štítná nad Vláří - Popov. The settlement cooking Avec in 1976 separated from the land Jestřabí and slammed Rokytnice. Since the beginning of 1992 Jestřabí forms its own community.
