Jetřichov

Jetřichov ( German Dittersbach ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located six kilometers north-west of Broumov and belongs to the Okres Nachod.

Geography

The Waldhufendorf extends over four kilometers along the creek Jetřichovský Potok ( Dittersbach ) in brown Auerbergland at the northern foot of the Falkenstein mountain at a right tributary of the river stones. To the east rises the Šance ( Schanzenberg, 493 m) and in the south of Honský Špičák ( Hutberg, 652 m). North of the village runs Steinetal the railway between Meziměstí and Broumov. The station Ruprechtice is already on the corridors of the same name, situated on the opposite side of the valley village Ruprechtice, which forms a closed settlement on both sides of the stones with Jetřichov from north to south. To the west runs a kilometer away from the place the railroad Náchod - Meziměstí, there is the railway station Březova u Broumova.

Neighboring towns are Ruprechtice in the north, Hynčice in the northeast, Hejtmánkovice in the east, Cerveny Dvůr Broumov and Křinice in the southeast, America and Hong-yi to the south, and Lachov Bohdašín in the southwest, and Březova Vernéřovice in the west and Meziměstí in the northwest.

History

In the wake of the reclamation of the area by the monastery Břevnov the site was created after 1255 by settlers along the inflow of stones. The first written mention of the name of its locator as Dieterspach village took place in 1395. Dittersbach was one of the pen Broumov associated villages. Its inhabitants lived by agriculture.

After the abolition of patrimonial Dittersbach formed with the hamlets and Semmering Alpine Dörfel 1850 a municipality in the district of Braunau court and later in the district of Braunau. After recording of rail transport between Chotzen and half city in 1875 the railway from half town was laid out to Braunau along the stones in the same year. This led to the establishment of companies in Dittersbacher reason on the stones. On the northern corridors created a flax spinning, finishing and bleaching, were added one mill and a Vorwerk.

1879 bleaching was rebuilt by the company Anselm Heinzel to dyeing, the beginning of the 20th century, the largest of the imperial Monarchy. At this time, the spinning had converted their production to cotton-wool fabrics. 1885 had 1,181 inhabitants Dittersbach, 1913 there were 1,503. South of the village sand pits were operated. After the Munich Agreement in 1938 Dittersbach, which was inhabited mainly German, was added to the German Reich and belonged until 1945 to the district of Braunau. In the years 1945 and 1946, the expulsion of the German inhabitants took place. 1961 Okres Broumov was dissolved and Jetřichov assigned to the Okres Náchod.
