Jimmer Fredette

James Taft " Jimmer " Fredette ( born February 25, 1989 in Glens Falls, New York ) is an American professional basketball player who was known by his college career at Brigham Young University. In 2011, he was the player with the most points in the top division of the university sports association NCAA. In addition, he was honored with several " Player of the Year " awards, including the Wooden Award, the Naismith Award, the Adolph Rupp Trophy and the Oscar Robertson Trophy.

Childhood

Fredette was born as the youngest of three children. His parents are Al and Kay Fredette. Nicknamed the " Jimmer " he received from his mother. From childhood he showed an unusual commitment to sport.
