Joanna Kerns

Joanna Kerns ( born February 12, 1953 in San Francisco, California) is an American film and television actress and director. The German public, it is known from the series Growing Pains.

Life

Joanna Kerns was born Joanne Crussie DaVarona daughter of Martha Louise Smith, the manager of a clothing store, and David Thomas DaVarona, an insurance agent, in San Francisco. She is Mexican and Irish-American descent. Joanna's sister is the former Olympic swimmer Donna de Varona. This won two gold medals in 1964 in Tokyo. Her aunt is the famous silent film actress Miriam Cooper. She also has two brothers named David and Kurt.
