Joe Grifasi

Joe Grifasi ( born June 14, 1944 in Buffalo, New York; native Joseph Grifasi ) is an American actor.

Life and achievements

Grifasi, son of a skilled worker served during the years 1963-1966 in the U.S. Army. He joined the Yale School of Drama from. His first film role was alongside John Lithgow in the television thriller Secret Service from 1977. In the film drama nightmare behind bars (1978 ), he starred in one of the major roles, he played a major role at the side of the James also directed by leading Caan in the movie drama traces to nowhere (1980). He played well in the short film The Appointments of Dennis Jennings, who was honored at the Academy Awards in 1989 for Best Short Film.

In the fantasy comedy A heavenly Lover (1989 ) Grifasi occurred on the side of Cybill Shepherd, Robert Downey Jr., Ryan O'Neal and Mary Stuart Masterson. In 2001, he directed the play Heaven Can Wait, which was performed in the Westport Country Playhouse.
