Johan Ryno

Johan Ryno ( born June 5, 1986 in Örebro ) is a Swedish professional ice hockey forward who is since 2011 in Leksand IF in the HockeyAllsvenskan under contract.

Career

Johan Ryno began his career in 2003 in the senior team of IFK Hallberg in the third-tier Division 1 in his first season he was the best scorer of his team with nine goals and 18 assists. In the summer of 2004 he moved within the league to IFK Kumla, where he continues to be well developed and his points yield increased to 38 points scorer.

He could recommend for bigger tasks through its good performance and was selected by the Detroit Red Wings in the NHL Entry Draft in 2005 in the fifth round at position 137. In addition, he received a contract with the IK Oskarshamn in the subprime HockeyAllsvenskan. There he quickly established itself as the second best scorer and third best scorer in the team that finished the season in the middle of the second Swedish league.

In summer 2006 he managed to jump in the highest Swedish league, Elitserien, where he received a contract with Frölunda HC. However, he had a difficult start there, as he had no point in the first 14 games of the season and was transferred back to the HockeyAllsvenskan to AIK Solna, where he was largely able to build on the achievements of the previous season. He returned for the second half of the season back in the Elitserien, where he played for Timrå IK. Ryno finally succeeded with eleven points in 25 games to end his debut season solid in the first division.

Before the start of season 2007/ 08 he went to America, where he participated in the training camp of the Detroit Red Wings and for their farm team, the Grand Rapids Griffins in the AHL. However, despite a promising beginning of the season with three goals and four assists in twelve games, he returned already in November 2007 returned to Sweden, where, however, he hardly noticed at Djurgårdens IF.

In the summer of 2008, he returned to the HockeyAllsvenskan and plays the 2008/09 season when AIK. But only shortly after the season starts, he had to cope with a setback when he broke his leg. After his return, he played the season solid, but rather unremarkable to an end. But in the promotion round to Elitserien he could shine again. Although the AIK missed the climb, but Ryno was with nine points from nine games best scorer of his team.

In autumn 2009 Ryno launched a new attempt to recommend at the Detroit Red Wings, who wanted to send him to the training camp back to the farm team in the AHL. This he refused, however, and returned then back to AIK back to Sweden, where he remained until 2010. Although he reached with his team in the second year the rise in the Elitserien, but then he stayed in the HockeyAllsvenskan and played in the 2010/11 season for his former club IK Oskarshamn. Since the season 2011/12 he is the second division Leksand IF on the ice.

Johan Ryno has a good two-way game and has playmaker ability. He has his height of 1.96 meters the potential to be a good power forward, but it must continue to develop his physical game. In addition, a weakness is ice skating.
