Johannes van den Bergh (2007)
John " Jojo " van den Bergh ( born November 21, 1986 in Viersen, North Rhine -Westphalia ) is a German footballer who is currently under contract at Hertha BSC. He plays preferably in the left side of midfield, but he can also act in defense left-back.
Life
Johannes van den Bergh was born in Viersen and raised in Schwalmtal. According to information he has Dutch ancestors in the great-great area.
His brother Luke played from 2007 to 2010 at Fortuna Dusseldorf II and by July 2012 the Wuppertal SV. " Jojo " as he is called, together with his girlfriend Clarissa and lives with her in Mönchengladbach.
Career
Youth
Van den Bergh joined in 1996 as a nine year old boy from SC Waldniel to Borussia Moenchengladbach and went through two and a half year break at Bayer 04 Leverkusen ( July 1999-December 2001 ) all junior teams Gladbach. During the 2006/07 season took van den Bergh for the first time in the training of professionals.
Borussia Mönchengladbach
On 16 September 2006 he gave his debut in the Bundesliga. In the game at Alemannia Aachen ( 2:4 ), he came off the bench for the second half. Hertha BSC
After van den Bergh was staying with Dusseldorf in Bundesliga 2, he moved to the 2013/14 season to newly promoted Hertha BSC. He signed with the capital club a three-year contract until 30 June 2016.
