John Anthony Brooks ( 2012)

John Anthony Brooks (born 28 January 1993 in Berlin ) is a German - American soccer player who is currently under contract at Hertha BSC.

Club career

After the stations SV Blau Weiss Berlin and Hertha Zehlendorf Lichtenrader BC Brooks moved in 2007 to the offspring of Hertha BSC. There he played until brought him the coach of Hertha's U -23 Karsten Heine during the winter break of the Regionalliga 2010/ 11 in his team. He rose quickly to first-team regular and played after its debut at TSV Havelse another 15 times.

In May 2011, Brooks signed a professional contract for a period of four years at Hertha. He came in the 2011/12 season, however, only the second team to use.

He convinced and fell to the Scouts of FC Bayern Munich, whose offer he turned down, however, and remained in Berlin. He debuted on August 3, 2012 on the opening day of the 2012/13 season in the home game against SC Paderborn 07 in the 2nd Bundesliga.

National team career

John Anthony Brooks went so far to four times for the U -20 of the United States and completed a game for the German U-20 national team. From U.S. coach Jurgen Klinsmann he was in August 2013 for the first time in the squad of the U.S. national team for a friendly match against Bosnia- Herzegovina.
