Sandro Wagner (born 29 November 1987 in Munich) is a German footballer who is currently under contract at Hertha BSC.

Clubs
FC Bayern Munich
With eight years Sandro Wagner moved from the youth team of FC Hertha Munich in the youth department of FC Bayern Munich after talent scouts in 1995 had become aware of him. The Bavaria Wagner went through all youth teams in 2005 and managed the leap into the Regional team, in which he (34th Round ) on 27 May 2006 - in a 1-1 draw at home against Eintracht Trier - debuted.
Wagner graduated from the preparation for the 2007/ 08 season with the first team. Due to the failures of Schlaudraff, Lukas Podolski and Luca Toni, he announced on 21 July 2007 in the League Cup against Werder Bremen made his debut in a competitive match of the professional team. On 25 July 2007 he was in the same competition against VfB Stuttgart in the starting lineup and scored his first goal in the pros. On 11 August 2007 ( 1st Round ), he was in a 3-0 win at home to Hansa Rostock - in to replace Miroslav Klose in the 87th minute - his Bundesliga debut. On 9 June 2008, he signed a valid from July 2008 Two year contract with the second division club MSV Duisburg.
SV Werder Bremen
On 31 January 2010, shortly before the end of the transfer window, Wagner moved to SV Werder Bremen and signed a to 30 June 2014 valid contract. In return, Kevin Schindler was awarded to the end of the season MSV to play matches. After almost three years since his last mission in the Bundesliga (1:1 Hamburger SV - FC Bayern München; 2 September 2007), he played 21 August 2010 (1st Round ) at the 1:4 defeat in Away match against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim play in the top division when he came on in the 73rd minute for Tim Borowski. His first Bundesliga goal he succeeded on 6 March 2011 ( 25th Round ) in a 3-1 win in the away match against SC Freiburg with the interim 1-0 lead. His first Doppeltorerfolg he succeeded 19 March 2011 in a 3-1 win in the away match against 1.FC Nuremberg, but he turned two penalties.
During the winter break of 2011/12 he was awarded for a year and half to the league rivals 1.FC Kaiserslautern.
(Gameday January 21, 2012, 18 ) The weekend after his commitment, Kaiserslautern played against his actual club Werder Bremen. For this game, he has not yet been taken into account by agreement of both clubs. So it happened that he ( 19th Round ) against FC Augsburg debut until 28 January 2012. Here he played the full 90 minutes. After relegation from the Bundesliga Wagner returned to Bremen. There he found in the cadre of professionals trained and no consideration from now on with the second team. It was also suggested him to look for a new club.
Hertha BSC
For the season 2012/13 he moved to second division side Hertha BSC. He signed a valid contract until 30 June 2014 and was in the squad of coach Jos Luhukay the jersey with the number 33 back
National
His first international match played Wagner for the U-21 national team before a home crowd in Duisburg MSV - Arena a 0-0 draw against Israel on September 9, 2008, when he came on in the 68th minute for Rouwen Hennings. After another four games, he was nominated by coach Horst Hrubesch for the U- 21 Championship 2009 in Sweden. Until the final, he had to take mainly place on the bench. In the second group match against Finland and in the semifinal against Italy, he came on in the closing stages. In the final against England, he was then for the yellow locked Ashkan Dejagah from the start on the pitch and scored the goals in a 3-0 and 4-0. His goal for the 4-0 final score was elected Goal of the Month June 2009. His last game in the U-21 national team played Wagner on 29 June 2009 in the 4-0 in England.
