John Dick (footballer born 1930)

John Dick, nickname or Johnny Jackson ( born March 19, 1930 in Govan, Glasgow, † September 2000) was a Scottish football player. Dick was one of the best scorers in the history of the London club West Ham United, for whom he scored 166 official matches Hits 1953-1962.

Club career

John Dick played in his hometown of Glasgow in Maryhill Harp and trained as a machinist before he was stationed in 1950 during his military service in the English Colchester.
