John Eisele

John Eisele ( Eisele John Lincoln, born January 18, 1884 in Newark, New Jersey, † March 30, 1933 ) was an American long-distance runner.

In the three-mile team race of the Olympic Games in London in 1908, he came in fourth place. He was the best-placed runners of the U.S. team that won silver. In about 3200 m steeplechase he won silver behind the two Britons Arthur Russell and Archie Robertson.

In 1908 he was U.S. champion in the road race over ten miles.
