John F. Du

John Forrosuelo Du ( born October 18, 1954 in Bantayan, Cebu Province, Philippines ) is Archbishop of Palo.

Life

John Du received on 1 June 1979, the sacrament of Holy Orders for the Archdiocese of Cebu.

On 21 November 1997, Pope John Paul II appointed titular bishop of Timici and Auxiliary Bishop of Cebu. The Archbishop of Cebu, Ricardo Cardinal Vidal, donated to it on 6 January 1998, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Bishop of Talibon, Christian Vicente Noel, and the Auxiliary Bishop of Cebu, Emilio Layon Bataclan.

On April 21, 2001 John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Dumaguete. Pope Benedict XVI. appointed him on 25 February 2012 for the Archbishop of Palo.
