John Llewellyn Rhys Prize

The John Llewellyn Rhys Prize is a literary prize, with the annually since 1942, the best English-language works ( fiction, nonfiction, poetry or drama ) of under 35 -year-old author from the United Kingdom or the Commonwealth is excellent.

The award was established in memory of the writer John Llewellyn Rhys, who was still young fallen in World War II by his widow. Since 2003, Booktrust, an independent charity and reading promotion organization, the sponsor of the prize.
