Jon Mark

Jon Mark (actually John Michael Burchell, born May 8, 1943 in Falmouth ( Cornwall) ), which today in Rotorua (New Zealand ) lives, is a British musician ( songwriter, singer, guitarist and keyboardist ) used in primarily for his band membership John Mayall and Mark - Almond is known.

Life and work

In 1963 Jon Mark with his school friend Alun Davies Album "Relax Your Mind " on. Composed from the mid- 1960s, and he arranged songs for Marianne Faithfull, whom he accompanied as an acoustic guitarist in the studio as well as their stage, radio and television appearances. He also worked as a session musician and producer Shel Talmy for which reported in several interviews that it was an Indian dyed song by Jon Mark, the Ray Davies to the Kinks hit " See My Friends" inspired.

Jon Mark was hired as a singer of the theme song by Christopher Morahans " Swinging Sixties " movie "All Neat in Black Stockings", whose soundtrack was composed by Robert Cornford and 1969 came to the cinema.
