Jonathan Zipf

Jonathan Zipf ( born June 20, 1986 in Herbolzheim - Broggingen ) is a German professional triathlete, vice-champion of the World Youth Championship 2005 and the reigning German champions Triathlon ( 2013).

Career

In 2003, he first participated at the European Championships and in September 2005, Jonathan Zipf was in Japan Triathlon World Cup runners- in the juniors.

He belongs to the promotion of sports Mainz of the German Bundeswehr ( Staff Sergeant ) and represents since January 2010 in the Bundesliga EJOT Team TV Buschhütten. Previously, he was gone for Hansgrohe Team Black Forest at the start. In 2010, Zipf again at the French Club Championship Series Lyonniase des Eaux part. In Beauvais (13 June 2010), the only Lyonnaise triathlon, took to the Zipf 2010, he was 14 and was the second best of his club.

In August 2011 he was German triathlon runner-up on the sprint distance.

In the ranking of the ITU World Championship Series in 2011 in the sprint, he was the best German twelfth grade.

In August 2013 Zipf was in Hanover German triathlon champion on the Olympic distance (1.5 km swim, 40 km cycling and 10 km running).
