Jorge Teixeira

Avelino Jorge Filipe Teixeira ( born August 27, 1986 in Lisbon ) is a Portuguese football player. He plays at the position of central defender.

Career

Jorge Teixeira was in the summer of 2010, committed by FC Zurich as a replacement for the retired defender Hannu Tihinen. Previously, he played two seasons in the third and a season in Portugal's second division. At the age of 22, he went abroad, where he a season in Cyprus - and played at Maccabi Haifa - with two different clubs.

Already in the first game for FC Zurich on July 20, 2010, he was in the starting lineup and has since been one of the tribe squad and shot at once in the first three games each a goal. As Rolf fringer was used on the 2012/2013 season as a coach, Teixeira lost his place.

In January 2013 it was announced that Texeira, on loan until the end of season, changes in the Italian Serie A for AC Siena with the option of completing the acquisition for the 2013/14 season.
