Oliver Buff

Oliver Buff ( born August 3, 1992, Baden ) is a Swiss football player. He plays as a midfielder in 2009 for FC Zurich.

Career

Association

As a junior Oliver Buff first played at FC Schlieren and then at FC Oetwil Geroldswil. In 2005, he came through a trial to FC Zurich, where he was invited for a training camp. Later he took the club to the junior team. His debut in the Axpo Super League gave Oliver Buff on 21 March 2010 at Letzigrund against AC Bellinzona. The FC Zurich won the game 2-0. His first goal came from Oliver Buff in his third appearance on the occasion of the Zurich city derby against Grasshopper Club Zurich on April 5, 2010, which was won 3-2. As a result, the club signed a contract until 2013. In the season 2010/11 Buff was Swiss runners-up.

On 13 May 2010 he took the U -21 team of the FCZ at 72 Blue Stars / FIFA Youth Cup and took part at the end with the U -21 2nd place. In addition, he was voted best player of the tournament.

National

Buff has played for the U -15 to U- 19 Selection of Switzerland. The first game in the national team jersey he gave as a central defender on 20 April 2007 in the Swiss U-15 national team against Germany (1:4). This was also the first game of the Swiss U-15, since May 23, 2001 compared Czech Republic (2-2 ).

He celebrated his greatest success yet with the Swiss U -17 national team by winning the U-17 World Cup Nigeria 2009. He came in six of seven games to use. In the quarter- final against Italy, he scored his only goal in this tournament. He scored in the 62nd minute to make it 2-1 late on.

He is currently the National Player of the Swiss U -21 national team. His debut for the U -21 national team, he was on 10 August 2011 against Italy. He played it through the first half. For the second 45 minutes he was substituted for Nzuzi Toko.
