Jörn Arnecke

Jörn Arnecke (born 1973 in Hameln ) is a German composer.

Life

Jörn Arnecke studied from 1994 to 2000 Composition and Music Theory at the University of Music and Theatre in Hamburg with Volkhardt Preuss and Peter Michael Hamel. Meanwhile, in 1997/98, he was a pupil of Gérard Grisey at the Conservatoire National Superieur in Paris, where he also assistant at IRCAM institute in 1998. Since 2001 he has held a part-time professor at the University of Music and Theatre in Hamburg. He received in 2004 a scholarship for the German Study Center in Venice and in 2007 for the Casa Baldi (Villa Massimo ) in Rome.
