Jos Punt

Jozef Marianus Punt ( born January 10, 1946 in Alkmaar ) is a Dutch priest and bishop of Haarlem -Amsterdam and Apostolic Administrator of the Dutch Military Ordinariate.

Life

Jozef Marianus Punt received on 9 June 1979, the ordination.

Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop on 1 April 1995 in Haarlem, Titular Bishop of Nasai and Apostolic Administrator of the Military Ordinariate of the Netherlands. He received his episcopal consecration of the Bishop of Haarlem, Hendrik Joseph Alois Bomers CM, on 1 July of the same year; Adrianus Johannes Simonis were co-consecrators Cardinal, Archbishop of Utrecht, and Franciscus Jozef Maria Wiertz, Bishop of Roermond.

On 21 July 2001, he was appointed bishop of Haarlem.
