Josh Pence

Joshua Charles " Josh " Pence ( born June 8, 1982 in Santa Monica, California) is an American actor.

Life

Pence was born in Santa Monica, California, the first son of an estate agent and a primary school teacher. He has a younger brother.

In 2000, Pence graduated from high school and moved to Hanover, New Hampshire, to study at Dartmouth College. After graduating from Dartmouth College in 2004, he returned briefly to Los Angeles back to begin training as an actor. Meanwhile, he worked as a model. From 2005 to 2007 he lived in New York City, where he continued his acting training with Sheila Gray and sideline continued to work as a model.

From 2006 he had his first minor supporting roles in films such as The Good Shepherd and television series such as CSI: NY and CSI: Miami. 2009 Pence spoke also for the lead role in the Marvel comic book adaptation Thor, was eventually rejected because of his lack of experience.

In David Fincher's film The Social Network from 2010 Pence acted as a body double for the actor Armie Hammer, the Winklevoss twins Cameron and Tyler represented in a double role. Later, in scenes featuring the faces of both twins hammer face recorded in the studio and digitally transmitted to the body of the second twin presented by Pence.

2012 took over pence in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises, the role of the young Ra's al Ghul.
