Jozef Spruyt

Joseph Spruyt (* February 25, 1943; Viersel, Belgium ) is a former Belgian cyclist.

He was professional from 1965 to 1976, three years he raced in the Mercier team of Raymond Poulidor and nine years in the team of Eddy Merckx. His greatest victories were the Scheldt Price Flanders in 1966 and Fleche Brabançonne 1971, and four stages of the Tour de France. In his 12 - year professional career, he was able to win a total of 18 wins and finished it at the age of 33 years.
