Juan Carlos Domínguez

Juan Carlos Domínguez ( born April 13, 1971 in Íscar ) was a Spanish cyclist.

Juan Carlos Domínguez began his professional career in 1995 with the Spanish cycling team Kelme -Costa Blanca. In 1997, he chose the Valencia tour, the Vuelta a Murcia and the Setmana Catalana for themselves. In 1998 he then moved to Vitalicio Seguros and won the Clasica Alcobendas. In his second year with this team, he was able to defend this victory and also won the Vuelta a La Rioja and Asturias tour. 2001 drove Domínguez for the Spanish team iBanesto.com. Here he won for the second time in the Tour of Asturias, and the Euskal Bizikleta. At the start of the Giro d' Italia 2002 in Groningen, he was the fastest on the 6.5 - km long prologue and wore the pink jersey for a day. In 2004 he became a member of the later Saunier Duval - Prodir ProTeama. It was not until he won the Ruta del Sol and 2005, the Tour of Burgos.
