Juggernaut (Band)

Juggernaut was an American thrash metal band from San Antonio, Texas, which was founded in 1985 and disbanded again in 1993.

History

The band was formed in 1985 by vocalist Harlan Glenn, guitarist Eddie Katilius, bassist Scott Womack and drummer Bobby Jarzombek. After the band had rehearsed a few songs, joined in the following year the debut album Baptism Under Fire at. In addition, the band was included with a song on the compilation Metal Massacre VII. Their second album, joined in 1987 under the name Trouble Within. It was instead of Singers Glenn now Steve Cooper heard. The release of the album was to be the last of the group before they broke up in 1993. Drummer Jarzombek, whose brother is a guitarist with the band Watchtower, should later play in bands like Demons & Wizards, Halford, Iced Earth, Riot or Spastic Ink.

Style

The band played progressive thrash metal, the music with old works of overkill is comparable, with the songs of Juggernaut are held far more complex.
