Kakahi is a small town on the North Island of New Zealand. It belongs administratively to the Ruapehu District Manawatu -Wanganui Region.
Geography
The predominantly agricultural village situated at the confluence of the Whanganui River and the Whakapapa River.
Traffic
The place is located off the New Zealand State Highway 4 between Taumarunui and National Park Village in the north to the south. The railway line in the North Iceland Main Trunk Railway runs through the town.
