The Kars Airport ( Turkish Kars Havaalanı ) is a classified as a regional airport Turkish airport immediately south of the town of Kars in the northeast of the country. It is operated by the State DHMI.

The airport was originally built in 1988 for civilian transport infrastructure of the country and is used for civilian purposes today. It has a 3000 meter long paved airstrip, which has a flight instrument landing system. The apron outside the terminal has a size of 258 × 120 meters and can accommodate five passenger aircraft. For passengers a terminal with a size of 1695 square meters and a capacity of one million passengers per year is available.

The airport is about six kilometers from the city of Kars. They can be reached by taxi, private car or airport on the highway D-965/E-691. Front of the terminal there is a parking lot for 100 cars.

In scheduled air transport of Kars Airport is currently served by Turkish Airlines, which flies to its hub from here daily at the Istanbul Ataturk Airport. Through its subsidiary airline AnadoluJet it also serves up to ten times a week Ankara.
