Konya Airport ( KYA IATA Code, ICAO Code LTAN, Turkish Konya Havaalanı ) is a Turkish airport with international status near the city of Konya. It is operated by the State DHMI.

The airport was in 2000 put into operation and used for both civil as well as by the Turkish Air Force. He has one terminal with a capacity of 2 million passengers per year and a paved airstrip, but no instrument flight landing system (ILS ) has. The apron has a size of 150 × 120 meters and can accommodate two airliners.

The millions city of Konya is located about 14 kilometers southeast. It is as well as parts of the surrounding region, to reach by taxi, private car or coach and airport shuttle bus. Front of the terminal there is a parking lot, which is designed for 278 cars.

The airport is 2012 not served by direct flights from German speaking countries. Turkish Airlines flies up to three times daily to Istanbul Ataturk, Pegasus Airlines up to three times daily to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen and every day to Izmir and Amsterdam. Corendon Airlines also flies seasonally to Amsterdam.
