Kašava

Kašava ( German Kaschawa ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. You more than twelve kilometers northeast of Zlin and belongs to Okres Zlín.

Geography

Kašava located at the southern waste the host 's mountains. The village is located in the Valley of Dřevnice and its tributaries Černý Potok and Kameňák. History

Since 1872, the church is called Kašava. 1935 Kašava was assigned to the Zlín Region. 1946, the foundation stone was laid for the public school in Kašava. From 1954 Kašava belonged to Okres Gottwaldov -venkov and again from 1960 to Okres Gottwaldov, which again bears the name Okres Zlín after the political changes since 1990.
