Kaskelen

Qaskeleng ( Kazakh Қаскелең / ​​Qaskeleñ; Russian Каскелен / Kaskelen ) is a city in Kazakhstan. It has 61 371 inhabitants ( 2012) and is the administrative headquarters of the district Qarasai.

Qaskeleng located on the eponymous river, 20 km from the former capital Almaty away.
