Kasper Andersen

Kasper Andersen Menger ( born August 3, 1984 in Silkeborg ) is a Danish racing driver.

Career

Like most racers began his career in karting Andersen, which he held from 2000 to 2002. In 2003 he moved into the Scandinavian Formula Renault and immediately became fifth in the drivers' standings. In 2004, he remained in this series and won with nine wins the championship. Having already participated EUR 2.0 cups and the German Formula Renault at some races of the Formula Renault, launched Andersen 2005 exclusively in this series. While he finished 19th overall in the Eurocup, he was with a win sixth in the German Formula Renault. In 2006, he improved in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup to fifth place overall and also competed in several races of the North European Formula Renault.

2007 Andersen moved into the newly emerged International Formula Master. With two race wins, he finished the season in seventh place overall. He also competed in five races of the Euro Series 3000. 2008 was the Dane again in the International Formula Master at the start. He failed to build on the victories of the previous year and he finished with two second places ninth overall. For the last three races of the season, he no longer went to. Instead, he started at four race weekends of the Superleague Formula for the team of the Greek football club Olympiacos Piraeus. 2009 Andersen returned back into the international Formula Master and started for Hitech Junior Racing starting his third season in the Championship. The Dane won a race this season again. After the first three race weekends, the team left the league and he could not finish the season again. Nevertheless, he finished the season tenth overall. Later in the year he started for assisted by Hitech Racing team of FC Midtjylland and denied his second season in the Superleague Formula. The Dane scored its best result a third in the last race of the season.
