Kate Roberts (triathlete)

Kate Roberts ( born June 20, 1983 in Bloemfontein ) is a South African professional triathlete.

Career

At the age of 15 years, Kate Roberts started biathlon and two years later she moved to triathlon. In 2001 she competed in her first triathlon and 2008 she took part in Beijing at the Olympic Games, where she finished 32nd.

She is four -time African champion in the sprint (2006, 2007, 2010 and 2011).

Besides Gillian Sanders and Richard Murray could qualify again in 2012 after 2008 for a starting place at the Olympic Games in London, where they landed on the 22 rank after a cycling accident.
