Katrin Engel

Katrin Engel ( born May 2, 1984 in Mistelbach ) is an Austrian Handball.

Career

Katrin Engel played from 1995 to 2007 and in the 2008/09 season for Hypo Niederösterreich Austria, with whom she won five league and cup. In the 2001 / 02 season, she was elected to the Austrian League for Newcomer of the Year. In Germany they ran for the 1st FC Nuremberg and Bayer 04 Leverkusen on, since 2010 is the 1.73 meter tall backcourt player that can also be used on outside right at Thüringer HC under contract. It was several times German champion and DHB Cup winner.

Katrin Engel part of the team of the Austrian national team. She was top scorer of the 2009 World Cup in China.
