Anja Althaus ( born September 3, 1982 in Magdeburg ) is a German handball player.

Career

Althaus started playing handball at the age of eight years in the youth of SC Magdeburg and moved as a 16- year-old second division for HC Niederndodeleben. 2000 the 1.77 m wide circle runner to an offer from the Bundesliga club DJK / MJC Trier and played there for six years. They won in 2003 with the " chicks " the German Championship and was one of the best county players in the Bundesliga.
