History

The Office Kellinghusenstraße country was formed on April 1, 1970, through the merger of the offices Brokstedt founded in 1948, and Hennstedt Kellinghusenstraße country.

On 1 January 2008, the Office disbanded and all municipalities except Auufer and Wittenbergen formed together with the hitherto official free city Kellinghusenstraße and the two municipalities Hohenlockstedt and Lockstedt of the former Office Hohenlockstedt the Office Kellinghusenstraße. The communities Auufer and Wittenbergen joined the Office width castle.

The content of the coat of arms refers to geographical and historical contexts. The blue pole symbolizes the confluence of sturgeon and Bramau, the tripartite division of the shield, the three offices origin.
