Kelníky

Kelníky ( German: Kelnik ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located ten kilometers north of Uherský Brod and belongs to Okres Zlín.

Geography

Kelníky is located in the southwest of Vizovice mountain country. The village lies on a plateau on the right side above the valley of the brook Částkovský creek. To the north of the Pasecky raise Kopec (377 m ) and the Doubí ( 429 m), in the northeast of Za Dvorem (410 m ) south of the Obce (336 m) and in the west of the Kopec ( 341 m).

Neighboring towns are Paseky in the north, Doubravy, Krasnovy and Hrivinuv Újezd ​​in the northeast, Velky Ořechov in the east, Lany, Dobrkovice and Maršov the southeast, Pašovice in the south, hacky and Částkov in the southwest and Svárov and Zlámanec in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village Colniczi took place in 1372 in a directory of paid in Hradiště bridge toll gate on Kunowitzer villages. We also find the village Nezdenky was called, it was south of Kelníky and went out later. As of 1497, the town was referred to as Kelník and 1550 with Kelnik. Since the 15th century the village belonged to the rule Částkov and from 1554 to Uherský Brod. Subsequent owners of the 1582 back from self-employed were good in January Lév of Brozánky and Václav Hřivín Újezd ​​on Částkov and the beginning of the 17th century Ondřej Lednický of Lednice. Upon incidence of the Transylvanian rebels under Stephen Bocskai the festivals Kelnik was destroyed. After the abolition of patrimonial Kelník / Kelnik formed in 1850 a municipality in the district administration and the judicial district of the Uherský Brod. From 1872, the name of locality Kelníky was needed. In 1906, the village school was inaugurated. 1949, the village was assigned to the Okres Uherské Hradiště. The volunteer fire department was founded 1950. Having the bell tower of falling down, donated the emigrated to the United States František Minařík in the 1960s, 15,000 crowns for the earlier proposed construction of a chapel in his home village, which, however, was not achieved at the lack of money. The school was closed in 1977. As of 1977, the village belonged to Gottwaldov, the back bears the name Okres Zlín after the political changes since 1990. Gepfarrt is the village after Velky Ořechov.
