Kerstin Langkopf

Kerstin long head is a former German luger. In the 1980s she was one of the best lugers interior of West Germany.

Kerstin long head was initially active as a junior. At the Junior World Championships in 1984 in Bludenz she was 21, in 1986 in Koenigssee 13 and 1988 in Olang ninth. The Junior European Championships 1985 in Koenigssee, she finished in 13th place, 1987, she was in Sarajevo eighth. In 1988 they came to their first use in the women. At the European Championships in 1988 in Koenigssee, she was eleventh. In the inaugural European Championship with a team event, she won together with Georg Hackl, John Schettel, Veronika Bilgeri, Thomas Schwab and Wolfgang Staudinger the title. In the 1989 World Series missed in Winterberg long head with Georg Hackl, John Schettel, Margit couple, Thomas Schwab and Wolfgang Staudinger on the team and fourth placed another medal. In individual races she finished ninth. After German reunification, she could not prevail against the national competition,.

National Long won the title in 1989 head, 1986, 1987 and 1990 behind Veronika Bilgeri behind Jana Bode she was runner-up.
