Kestel (Bursa)

Kestel is a district of the Turkish province of Bursa and at the same time a municipality of Büyükşehir Belediyesi ( city municipality ) Bursa. The district lies to the east of the center of Bursa.

The district is located in the eastern center of the province. It is bordered on the west by Yıldırım, on the northwest by Gürsu, in the north of Gemlik, on the east by Yenişehir and İnegöl and on the south by Osmangazi. Located just south of I 90, which crosses the city from west to east and Bursa leads coming from Canakkale to Ankara. The main town located in the extreme Kestel Westeh of the district, to the south is part of the Uludağ Massif, in the center of the circle is the lake Gölbaşı Gölü.
