Kevin Arnould
Kevin Arnould ( born February 19, 1980 in Sallanches ) is a former French skier, who was ski jumping and cross-country active in the Nordic combined and their individual disciplines.

Career
Nordic Combined
His international debut Arnould at the Junior World Championship 1999 in Saalfelden sea. There, he won the team bronze in the team competition. A year later, at the Junior World Championship 2000 in Štrbské Pleso he won over 10 km individual Gundersen also bronze. On 26 February 2000 Arnould made his debut in the World Cup Nordic Combined. He missed a 32 in Chaux -Neuve right away his first World Cup points just barely. In March, he started in Chamonix -Mont- Blanc B World Cup and won the competition on the normal hill Gundersen individual.
In September 2000, he launched a competition in the Summer Grand Prix and became the 30th in Stams also immediately secured a point. At the start of the World Cup season 2000/ 01 he was in the second competition in Kuopio than 23 his first World Cup points. In the Nordic World Ski Championships 2001 in Lahti Arnould landed in individual ranked 21 Together with the team he reached the ninth position and was in the sprint at the end of 29, after he claimed the World Championship once again was able to reach a points success, he landed at the end of the season ranked 41 in the World Cup overall standings.
Also in the 2001/ 02 season Arnould successfully launched with point gains in Kuopio and Lillehammer. In Steamboat Springs, he reached 12 for the first time as a top 20 placement. Also in Val di Fiemme, he twice reached this place. Surprisingly, he was on the Dachstein in ninth place for the first time end up in Ramsau in the top ten.
At the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City Arnould was ranked 34 in the sprint and 17th place in singles. In team competition, he was together with Ludovic Roux, Frédéric Baud and Nicolas Bal at the end of sixth. In the 2002/ 03 season Arnould launched after successes at the Summer Grand Prix again with good results. In January, he moved to prepare for the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2003 again in the B World Cup and showed there among other things with a victory in Klingenthal very good performance. At the World Championships in Val di Fiemme, Italy, he was ninth in the sprint and reached with the team finished seventh in the team competition. At season's end, he surprised with fifth place in the sprint in Oslo, which was also the best World Cup result of his career. In the end, he concluded the most successful season of his career from a 21 overall.
In the Summer Grand Prix 2003 Arnould was in Steinbach Hallenberg first time as second on the podium. However, it remained the only podium finish of his career in this series. In the 2003 / 04 season, it was not possible Arnould to build on his success from the previous year. Although he often ended up in the points, greater success or top- 10 finishes were down to a seventh place in Kuusamo from the beginning of the season. In the end he was ranked 33 in the overall standings. A further drop in performance recorded Arnould in the season 2004/05. Again remained of top rankings and at the end he finished even only rank 35 in the World Cup overall standings.
In the Nordic World Ski Championships 2005 in Oberstdorf, he reached for a 18th place in the individual Gundersen with the team, which also includes Nicolas Bal, Jason Lamy Chappuis and Ludovic Roux belonged, at the end of seventh place in the team competition.
In the season 2005/ 06 Arnould often remained without success point. His best result was a 24th place in Ramsau am Dachstein and Oslo. Therefore, he moved again in January in the B World Cup, where he started before the season end. After he was able to reach there no podiums, he ended his career after the season.
Ski Jumping
His first appearance at the ski jumping hate Arnould on 2 March 2002 at the Ski Jumping World Cup in Lahti, in which he supported the team in the team competition. At the end he reached the eighth and last place, together with Emmanuel Chedal, Rémi Santiago and Nicolas Dessum. On 4 February 2006, he started in Courchevel again in the FIS Cup. He won 32 points in eighth and was thus in the overall standings at the end ranked 134th
Cross-country skiing
In cross-country skiing Arnould played two FIS races in March 2005 and March 2006. He reached 2005 Ulrichen 10 km free style number 28 and 2006 in Méribel in the same discipline Rank 39
