Khalil al-Hibri

Khalil al - Hibri (Arabic خليل الهبري, * 1904 in Beirut, Lebanon Mutessariflik, † 1979) was a Lebanese politician. From 1952 he was a member of the Board of Beirut Water Company in the city of Beirut, later became Chairman of the Board, and remained so until 1972.

In 1957 he was elected to the National Assembly and appointed Minister of Public Works in the government Solh. During the Lebanon crisis in 1958 Hibri was entrusted with the formation of a transitional government on 20 September 1958, which he headed until September 24.
