Takieddin el-Solh

Takieddine Solh (also Takieddin Solh, Takieddin el- Solh, Arab تقي الدين الصلح, DMG Taqī ad - Dīn aṣ - sulh, * 1908 in Sidon, Lebanon Mutessariflik, † November 27, 1988 in Paris, France) was a conservative Lebanese politicians.

He represented from 1957 to 1960 and from 1964 to 1968, the Bekaa Valley in the Lebanese parliament, the Assemblée nationale. From 1964 to 1965 he was Minister of the Interior. On 8 July 1973 he was appointed Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, a position he held until October 31, 1974. On July 20, 1980, he was asked to form a government again, but he was not capable, and yet resigned on October 25.

He is the cousin of Riad Solh. His wife was Fadwa El- Solh Barazi.
