Kily González 2003

Kily González ( * August 4, 1974 in Rosario Cristian Alberto González Peret ) is a former Argentine footballer.

González acted in left midfield, played accurate passing and was very strong in the tackle.

Career

He started his career as a professional soccer player in Argentina in 1992 with Rosario Central, then he played one season in 1995 at the Boca Juniors. After the 1996 season, signed him to Real Zaragoza, from where he moved to FC Valencia in 1999. There he was in 1999 Spanish Supercup winner and 2002 Spanish champion. As of 2003, González played with Inter Milan and won the 2005 Coppa Italia. In 2006 he returned to his home and playing again since then for Rosario Central. In 2009 he moved to San Lorenzo.

His debut in the Argentine national team, he gave in June 1999 against Mexico. In 2002 he took part in the World Cup, the Copa América 2004, he scored against eventual winners Brazil in the final score and won at the Olympic Games in Athens, the gold medal. For the World Cup 2006, he was not nominated.
