Kim Rene Elverum Sorsell

Kim Rene Elverum Sorsell ( born October 6, 1988 in Oslo) is a Norwegian ski jumper.

Career

Elverum Sorsell started in the summer of 2004 in Rælingen first time at an international ski jumping. In February 2005, he raced in Brotterode first time in a ski jumping Continental Cup, where he could jump in twelfth straight into the points. After the Junior World Championship 2005 in Rovaniemi, where he was eliminated in the individual competition after the first round and finished sixth in the team competition, he joined a long time only in the FIS Cup. After following the Junior World Championships in Kranj in 2006, when he finished in 25th place, he went through at the Continental Cup. Here he fought mostly for a place in the second round. When held in Tarvisio Junior World Championship 2007, he was able to improve slightly and was 21 in singles and fifth with the team. After another Continental Cup he received in the 2007/08 season first inserts in the World Cup, missed here but always the second pass. The Continental Cup, where he participated in this season, he could do well and several times finished in the top ten and three times on the podium. In the summer of 2008 he went to the Summer Grand Prix, but could not penetrate into the points places here. At the start of the World Cup season 2008/ 09 he was able to achieve when jumping in Trondheim with a 22 rank first World Cup points. On 31 January 2009, he scored in Sapporo with a 17th place his best ever World Cup result.

On 10 December 2010 Elverum Sorsell won in Vikersund first time Continentalcupspringen, a success he could repeat in Sapporo on January 13, 2013.
