Kladruby (Rokycany District)

Kladruby ( German Kladrub ) is a municipality with 149 inhabitants ( 2008) in the Czech Republic. It is located seven kilometers north-east of Radnice in Radnitzer Bergland and belongs to Okres Rokycany. The land area is 1370 ha

Geography

The place is located in 385 m above sea level. M. right of Berounka in the valley of the brook Radubice. To the north lies the Pohořelec forest, which extends to the Berounka. To the west of the village lies the nature park Horni Berounka.

Neighboring towns are Lejskův Mlýn in the north, Chlum in the northeast, Prašný Újezd ​​in the east, and Skoupý Hlohovičky the southeast, Hlohovice, Vojenice and Svinná in the south, Novomlýnské in the southwest and Rakolusky and Hřešihlavy in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village dates from 1329. Together with the neighboring Vojenice belonged Klabruby from 1352 to possession of the provost Melnik.
