Lhotka u Radnic

Lhotka u Radnic is a municipality with 76 inhabitants ( 2006) in the Czech Republic. It is located five kilometers north of Radnice and belongs to Okres Rokycany. The land area is 381 ha

Geography

The place is located in 397 m above sea level. M. runs on a plateau between the valleys of the Berounka and its tributary creek Radnický, dseen valley east of Lhotka. Northwest of Lhotka is above the Berounka the ruins of the castle Libštejn.

Neighboring towns are Chockov and Novomlýnské in the north, Svinná in the east, and Kamenec Němčovice in the south, Olešná the southwest, Pod Žikovem in the West, as well as Zavadilka, Nová Basta and Robcice in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village dates from 1362. Much older is Chockov which is detectable since 1115.
