History

Nevid was established in 1227. As part of the manorial Šťáhlavy the place came in the mid-15th century to the Doupov of Duppau. Their Stiahlauer line 1539 sold their possessions including the villages Šťáhlavice, Nezbavětice, Sedlec, Lhota, Neslívy, Nezvěstice, Žákava and Nevid and the desert castle on Lopata Jiřík Kokořovec of Kokorov. In the inheritance of rule Šťáhlavy Nevid belonged beside Plzenec, Lhota, Sedlec, Šťáhlavice, Raková and Nezbavětice to the share of Jiří Petr Kokořovec on Šťáhlavy.

1710 acquired the Cernin Chudenic of the rule and in 1816 it fell heir to Christian von Waldstein. After the replacement of patrimonial Nevid 1850 was an independent village in Rokitzaner district.

In the forest area northeast of the village lies on Dolny rybnik the campsite Holubí kout.
