Klaus Händl

Klaus Händl, as an artist Händl Klaus (born 1969 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian writer, film director and playwright.

Life

Händl Klaus was born as Klaus Händl in Innsbruck / Tyrol. After leaving school at the Academic Gymnasium Innsbruck and a drama school he was first engaged at the Vienna Schauspielhaus ( line Hans Gratzer ). Until 2005, he worked occasionally in feature films, among others by Christian Berger, Urs Egger, Michael Haneke, Jessica Hausner, Dagmar Knöpfel, Franz Novotny, Wolfram Paulus, Thomas Roth, Marc Rothemund, Ulrike Schweiger, Douglas Wolfsperger with. In 1994 he joined with the prose " ( legends) ," appeared in the literature publisher Droschl Graz, literary in appearance, for which he received the Robert Walser Prize and the Rauris Literature Prize. In 1996, his radio play " Little Bird Studies" ( ORF) was honored as a radio play of the year. Händl Klaus teaches at the University of Applied Arts Vienna in the class for stage and film design. He now lives in Vienna, Berlin and port on Lake Biel ( Switzerland ).
