Koczarki

Koczarki ( German Kotzargen ) is a village in Poland in the Warmia and Mazury, Gmina Kętrzyn.

Geography

Koczarki is one of 23 districts of the rural community Kętrzyn. Administrative center is the city of Kętrzyn, but does not belong as an independent municipality of the rural community. Koczarki located 13 km south-east of Kętrzyn. The village is about 40 kilometers south of the state border of Poland to Russia's Kaliningrad Oblast.

Administrative history

From 1874, the rural community Kotzargen and also the Gutsbezirk Kotzargen belonged to the district of Budzisken No. 2 and from 1908 to the District Budzisken. 1928 Gutsbezirk Kotzargen was incorporated Kotzargen in the rural community. In 1929 it was renamed the rural community Kotzargen in Eichhöhe and 1932, renamed the Amtsbezirks Budzisken in Wachau.
