Komerční banka

Commercial Bank ( KB, German literally commerce or business bank) is one of the largest banks in the Czech Republic. It has about 1.5 million customers in more than 350 offices.

The bank was founded in 1990 after the separation of commercial activities of the former Státní banka Československé ( State Bank of Czechoslovakia ). 1992, the Bank had been partially privatized ( voucher privatization ). 2001, the government sold its 60 % stake in the French bank Société Générale for about 1.44 billion euros.

Logo

The logo of the Commercial Bank is identical to that of the parent company Societe Generale. Only the lettering is replaced by the initials KB.
