Krisztina Tóth

Krisztina Tóth (* 29 May 1974 in Miskolc ) is a Hungarian table tennis player. She won in the 1990s and 2000s several Ttitel at European Championships.

Youth

For table tennis came Krisztina Tóth by her uncle, who played in the first Hungarian League. Initial success at the international level it achieved in European Youth Championships. Here she won the doubles competition together with Vivien elloe 1988, 1990 and 1991. She was also 1991 European Junior Champion in singles, 1990 in Mixed with Zoltán Varga, as well as 1988 and 1991 with the Hungarian team.

National success

Krisztina Tóth was in the years from 1987 to 2000 continuously Hungarian team champion, first with the club Statisztika Budapest ( Statisztika Petőfi SC ) ( 1987-1990), then with Statisztika - Metalloglobus ( 1990-1998 ), and finally again with Statisztika Petőfi SC (1998 -2000 ). Six times in a row, she was Hungarian Champion in singles (1995-2000) and doubles (1994-1999), they also won in 1994, 1997 and 2002 in mixed doubles.

In 2000, she left Hungary towards Germany.

European Championships

1994 Tóth was first nominated for the European Championship. Right away she was in double with Csilla Bátorfi European champion. With the same partner, she won again in 2000 this title, in 2003 and 2005 they lost in the final. As of 2007, she played doubles with Georgina Póta with which she came in second. A year later, they won the title. In single- Tóth was twice vice- European champion: in 1996 and 2002 behind Nicole Struse behind Ni Xialian. More tracks gains achieved in mixed Tóth 1996 with Vladimir Samsonov and 2003 with Werner Schlager and 2000 and 2007 with the Hungarian team.

Other successes

From 1996 to the present (2010), she participated in all European ranking tournaments TOP -12. They came in second place in 2005, 2003 and 2010 to third place. Thirteen times she was nominated for the World Championships since 1993. Beat your best score it achieved this in 1995 in a double when she won with Csilla Bátorfi bronze. 1996, 1999 and 2000 she qualified in the ITTF Pro Tour tournaments to participate in the Pro Tour Grand Finals. They also competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics, 2000, 2004 and 2008.

Germany

Krisztina Tóth 2000 came to Germany and joined the Bundesliga club TV Busenbach. In the season 2006/ 07 the German with the TTC Langweid team champion. She then moved to FSV Kroppach, with whom she was in the two following years German masters. 2013 she moved to TTC Langweid to the 2nd Bundesliga. At the same time she finished her international career.

Since 1 April 2013 Krisztina Tóth working for the Bavarian Table Tennis Association as a speaker for competitive sports.
